Kathleen E. Heath

February 6, 1912 – November 16, 2006

Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 20, 2006 at Grace United Methodist Church in Paynesville for Kathleen E. “Kay” Heath, age 94, of Paynesville who died Thursday, November 16 at the Koronis Manor Care Center in Paynesville. Reverend Ric Koehn will officiate.

Kay was born on February 6, 1912 in Mankato, Minnesota to LeRoy and Katie (Page) McFail. She married Edward Heath on November 3, 1934 in Mound. She has been a resident of Paynesville and Lake Koronis since 1976. Kay was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Kay was a very loving person and caregiver for five foster children.

Kay is survived by her children, Marcia Heath of Birmingham, Alabama, Jon Heath of Albertville; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; special friend, Don Sumner of Paynesville; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1995; two brothers and two sisters.

Memorials are preferred to the Paynesville Area Senior Center Meals on Wheels Program or to Grace United Methodist Church.

jon and Marcia and grandchildren. have many wonderful memories of spending time at the heath cabin with all the kids and remember that kay was one of the kids too! such a gracious hostess to put up with all of us!! am sorry for your loss but the memories will always be with you.

Jesse and I had the opportunity to get to know “Gramma Kay” when she spent winters here in Alabama. She was a lovely lady and was so dearly loved by her family. She was always so kind to our family and we were quite fond of her. Our deepest sympathies to all of you. Jo and Marsha, let us know what you need–wish we could be there to give you a big ole hug.
