Kayleen was born on September 16, 2003 in St. Cloud to Kelly and Sarah (Bettendorf) Larson. She was in the third grade Spanish Immersion Program at Clearview Elementary. Kayleen loved music, soccer, swimming, camping and the outdoors. She was her brother and sister’s #1 hockey fan. She was a budding artist who loved to do crafts and paint. She especially enjoyed time with her friends.
Kayleen was a beautiful girl who was more full of life than any obituary could capture and will be remembered that way. She loved her family and took comfort in knowing that she would watch over us from above.
She is survived by her parents, Kelly and Sarah of Clearwater; siblings, Alex Larson, Meghan Larson, Jon Frikken and his wife Jessie Schafer-Frikken; grandparents, Judy Bettendorf of St. Cloud, James Bettendorf of Brooklyn Park, Patricia Larson of Sartell; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Kayleen was preceded in death by her grandfather, Arden Larson.
“Please join us in celebrating Kayleen’s life by honoring her request that everyone wear her favorite color blue.”

What a wonderful young lady and a shame that such a valuable life ended too soon. I learned recently that my young daughters Ella and Greta played with you at school and thought you were wonderful. Thank you for being so wonderful and strong, you have inspired me and helped me realize what is truly important. You are a very special gal and will always be remembered. The Johnson house is thinking of you.

My heart goes out to your whole family, and we are praying peace and comfort for you all. It is such a difficult cross when we are lent our children for such a short time here on Earth…then must give them back to God. Though we never met your precious Kayleen, she touched our lives and our hearts. May Jesus and Mary keep you in their comforting embrace and bring peace to your days.~ Blessings from the Baca Family
