Kenneth J. Fritz

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2006 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Kenneth J. “Doc” Fritz, age 73, of St. Cloud who passed away Thursday, June 29th at his home.  Reverend Virgil Helmin will officiate.  Entombment will be in Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum in St. Cloud.

Friends may call between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Friday (TODAY) at HOLY SPIRIT CATHOLIC CHURCH and after 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.  Parish prayers will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the church.

Ken was born on November 28, 1932 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Harold and Pauline (Weis) Fritz.  He married Virginia Heurung on September 24, 1960 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Avon.  He worked for the Star Tribune as a circulation manager.  He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and the St. Cloud Eagle’s Aerie 622.

Ken is survived by his wife Virginia of St. Cloud, children Mary Rivard of Hopkins and Nancy Jorgensen of Blaine, four grandchildren, brothers and sisters Vonnie Theisen, Betty Gelle, Bobby Fritz, Thomas Fritz, Billy Fritz, and Tim Fritz.

Preceding him in death are his parents and brother David.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
