March 28, 1939 – April 30, 2010
Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Lorraine L. Walsh, 71, of St. Cloud and formerly of Bovey will be at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Lorraine died Friday, April 30, 2010 at the St. Cloud Hospital with her family at her side. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls.
Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Church. Arrangements are with Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.
Lorraine was born on March 28, 1939 in Long Prairie, Minnesota to Louis and Florence (Schuman) Bliese. She married Jon A. Walsh on April 8, 1961 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grand Rapids. They lived in the Twin Cities area before moving to Bovey in 1972, and to St. Cloud in 1995.
Lorraine enjoyed spoiling her granddaughter, baking, garage sales and crocheting. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Jon of St. Cloud; children, Betsy of Long Beach, CA, Andy of Fridley and Robert of Buffalo; and granddaughter, Jazlyn.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
