My deepest sympathies. I have only recently heard of Mr Foote’s passing. He was a great teacher and wonderful, kind person. He was very supportive and encouraging of me in the classroom. He had a great sense of humor and joked with me and other students all the time. He made quite an impact on my life and I still think of him often. He will truly be missed

Mr.Foote was an excellent teacher he truly had a passion for music. He took great pride in us “kids” he was patient but very persistent. All in all Mr.Foote was my favorite choir instructor. He will be truly missed.

Bobbi – Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort in your family and friends during this very difficult time.

Beginning about 10 years ago, whenever we would visit St. Cloud we would always stay at Loius and Bobbi’s B&B. What a wonderful experience and getting to know Louis was a joy. He was such an engaging man and it seems he certainly lived a full life. We will miss a true friend.

Our thoughts and hearts reach out to you and your family.

Mrs. Foote and family. I was very sorry to hear of the loss of Louis. I remember him often helping with our choir concerts at SHS. He always had a great energy and always appeared to be filled with joy! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Lois

Oh I’m so sorry, Mrs. Foote. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Bobbi and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Louis so vividly helping with some of our Musical Performances (along with Mrs. Foote) at Sartell. A great laugh, smile and wonderfully patient with us kids. You ar ein my thoughts and prayers. May God find a perfect “part” for him in heaven… the show must go on.
-Bonnie

To the family of Mr. Foote, my deepest sympathy. My best memories of high school are those of the time I spent in choir. This wonderful man could make us sound like a choir of angels! Concerts and performances since his retirement from Foley have never been the same. I still get “goosebumps” when I remember the sound of performances in the old gymnasium. I can imagine now how the angels must be singing. You will be missed Mr. Foote, and always remembered for your kindness, enthusiasm, and your goodness.

Bobbi, Jennifer, and Christopher – I am so sorry for your loss. Working on Charlie Brown was one of the highlights of my career and of my life and I am so thankful that I was able to be successful working with Louie. I was envious enough of the connections I saw him making with kids that I began to emulate him in the hope that I could make those connections, too. I had some success in that area and I owe a lot of that to Louie. I always loved his enthusiasm for life and his wonderful laugh.

Bobbi, Jennifer, and Chris, we share in your grief at Louis’ passing. Louis was many things, most importantly, your husband and father. He was the very best teacher I ever had because he saw the light that was in me and gave me a chance to shine. He did this for countless kids throughout his teaching career. His teaching extended beyond the classroom as he showed us all how to embrace loved ones and life itself. He cherished his family and found great joy in sharing them with his friends and vice versa. Our world is a little sadder without you, Louis, but I imagine that Heaven is a bit brighter and happier with one more voice in the choir. I’ll miss you, and I shall remember you always.

Wow what a great man in my memories. Like no one else he inspired thousands of choral students with his great love of music. His great sense of joyfulness that he proclaimed with his entire being when teaching us how to sing together. It is definitely because of his inspiring teaching abilities that I still love to sing in a choral and participate in all sorts of musical entertainment. Some 15 years or so ago I wrote him to thank him for his great inspiration in my life, my families and I know all those he taught and inspired. God bless you Mr. Foote with eternal soul stirring music. May you know fully the beautiful person that you brought forth in this world and all the goodness that you spread through your love of music.
