Luana Mae Manuel

June 1, 1940 – December 13, 2023

Luana Mae Manuel, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend died peacefully on December 13, 2023. In the last months of her life, she was prayed for and cared for by those who loved her.

Luana was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ron, and her son, Richard “Ricky” whom she loved beyond measure. We pray, Lord, this devoted mother is now reunited with her precious and beautiful boy. Also, prayers of eternal rest grant for her parents, Earl and Josephine Stowe; her brothers, John, Gerald and Richard Stowe; her brother-in-law, Gerald Inderieden; her brother-in-law, Robert Yozamp, Sr., and her nephew, Daniel “Danny” Yozamp.

She is survived by her sisters, Joan Yozamp, and LaVerle Inderieden, both of St. Cloud; sister-in-law, Glendoras Stowe of Hutchinson; and nieces and nephews: Robert (Debbie) Yozamp, Jr. of Rogers, MN; Patti Jones of Missouri; JerMarie (Jorge) Carrasco of Bainbridge Island, WA; Joy Inderieden of St. Cloud, MN; Charles Inderieden (Stacey) of Scottsdale, AZ; and Richard (Kris) Inderieden of Minnetonka, MN; and grand and great grand nieces and nephews; as well as life-long friends.

A sweet, soft-spoken and extremely hard-working woman, Luana took care of her own home and yard, and for many years helped others care for their homes. She also enjoyed going to garage and estate sales. Born and raised in St. Cloud, she spent several years living in different parts of the country, but returned home to Minnesota. She may have lived far from family at times, but she was never forgotten.

We remember our sister and “auntie” as a very generous and giving woman who noticed and took care of the needs of others. She was also 30-plus year breast cancer survivor and an inspiration to us all. Through everything she persevered—she finished her race—believing and trusting in a loving and merciful God. She was beautiful inside and out and we will miss her. The family is especially grateful for the physical care of the St. Croix Hospice Team and the spiritual care of Rev. Michael Garry (Baxter), Rev. Greg Okafor (Duluth) and Rev. James Statz (St. Cloud). Saint Lucy, pray for us.

Eternal rest grant unto Luana Mae Manuel, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace.
