no one will ever forget his smile and how he always put a smile on someones face when they were down. when i seen him he never once not smiled. He was a great person and its so sad that he is gone. He was a great Basketball Coach. I dont know how his family is dealing with him gone because i sure couldnt. I just wish that everybody could of seen him one last time before he died. I cant believe it when i found out that he was gone in fact i didnt want to believe it. I watched so many kids that day cry because they lost him. I watched as kids went to the safe room in tears and people that came back that were in tears. When you see someone else cry it makes you want to cry. So many people are going to his funeral tommorrow while others wish they could go. It has been a very depressing week. Major Campbell was loved by so many students and i cant imagine what his family is going through right now. I just hope that no one ever forgets him and he is always in our sole. In some people that were really close to him are gonna have a part of them that is gone and will never be there again because thats where Major was. I really hope that he is happy and i just wish that he wasnt gone. It hurts so much when you loose someone you love so much and not saying goodbye is worse. =[ im sorry for anybody who was really close to him. I know how it feels.
Major~You were a great guy and you always had a smile on your face, you will always be remembers in Z-town for your smile and love. You’ll be missed dearly.

My deepest sympathy to Major’s family. I always enjoyed playing basketball at Whitney with him, and he treated me with respect even though I was a girl. His smile and bright personality will be greatly missed.
God Bless you Heidi, your beautiful kids are always loved here and we promise to always be here as your neighbor and friend. Stay strong.
Major was a dear friend to the McClain family. Our sympathy and prayer goes to the entire family and i will always cherish his friendship.
Our hearts go out to you, Heidi. The pictures of your beloved husband and your children are wonderful! Be strong for them. All of you will recover from this sorrow someday, and you will be left with the beautiful memories of your life with Major. Meanwhile, “hang in there tough”. We learn as we get older that life is not necessarily fair and often we can’t do much about it! The person who first wrote the following prayer knew what he was talking about: “Lord, let me change the things I can change and accept the things I cannot change”. God bless you and your family. i would like to send my condolescences out to his wife and kids, and the Campbell family. When i heard of his passing i couldnt speak, i’m going to miss him. He is always going to be in my heart and mind, never to be forgotten. May his soul live on forever and i wish the best of luck to everyone who will miss him. With love and kisses Renee Hamilton and family.
Major and I worked together at Zimmerman High School during the last school year. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer early in September and he was supportive and kind to me during the whole year. I had to undergo Chemo and Radiation treatments and he was always there for me. I was proud to work along side him in the classroom. I considered Major a friend, as well as, a partner at school. I will miss him and all of the students he worked with will miss a wonderful teacher and coach. God bless Major Campbell.
