October 16, 1921 – March 5, 2011

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville for Maria M. Faber, age 89, of Paynesville, who passed away on March 5 at her home with family at her side. Reverend Glenn Krystosek will officiate. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Friday and after 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville. The Daughters of Isabella and Christian Women will pray a rosary at 5 p.m. on Friday at the church.

Maria was born October 16, 1921 in St. Martin, MN to Joseph and Elizabeth (Schaefer) Doll. She married Herman H. Faber on August 11, 1942 at St. Martin Catholic Church in St. Martin. They farmed in the St. Martin area until 1967 when they moved to Paynesville. She was a homemaker a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, Christian Women and Daughters of Isabella. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, playing cards, puzzles and spending time with family.

Maria is survived by her children Larry (Carol) Faber of Rice, Kathleen Faber of Paynesville, Janet (David) Brinkman of Paynesville, Mary (Gerry) Mehr of Paynesville, Pat (Joe) Nistler of Richmond and Alan (Mary) Faber of Sartell, daughter-in-law RoseAnn Faber of St. Cloud, 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, brother Virgil (Florine) Doll of Cold Spring and sisters Walburga Lieser of Paynesville and Rita (Alfred) Feldewerd of Melrose.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Herman (2004), sons Joseph, Arnold, and Michael, grandson James Mehr, brothers Henry, Urban, Sylvester, Hilary, Martin, Anthony and Joseph Doll, sisters Marcella Laumeyer, Genevieve Loehr, Mary Ann Fuchs.

Memorials are replica rolex preferred.
