Marilyn L. Hofmann

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at St. Mary’s Cathedral Lower Church in St. Cloud, MN for Marilyn Louise Hofmann age 76 of St. Cloud, MN, who died on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at the Country Manor Health Care Center in Sartell, MN. The Reverend Anthony Oelrich will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at St. Mary’s Cathedral Lower Church.

Marilyn was born on August 27, 1936 in St. Cloud, MN the daughter of Joseph and Irene (Schulte) Sobkoviak. She attended school in St. Cloud graduating from Cathedral High School.

She was united in marriage to Anthony A. Hofmann on September 12, 1959 at St. Mary’s Cathedral. Three daughters were born to this union. Marilyn lived her whole life in St. Cloud where she and her husband raised their girls. Her husband died on February 3, 2010. She has been a resident of the Country Manor health Care Campus the last few years.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Cathedral, St. Peter’s Catholic Church and St. Anthony’s Catholic Church throughout her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Marlene Tholl.

Marilyn is survived by, her daughters; Karen (Eric) Gehrke of St. Cloud, MN, Jacqueline (Nicholas) Kacures of Tofte, MN, Pamela Jones of Monticello, MN, as well as grandchildren; Zoe Kay Kacures, Amber Dawn Jones, Erika Joy Jones, Samantha Joann Stueve, and Nikol May Jones, two sisters; JoAnn Moshier of Andover, MN and Carol Brady of Topeka, KS, other relatives and many friends.
