Marina Agnes Koopmeiners was born on March 3, 1940 to Joseph and Bernadine (Austing) Kemper in New Munich, Minnesota. She graduated from Melrose High School in 1958. Marina married the love of her life, Linus Koopmeiners, on August 8, 1959 at St. Mary’s Cathedral, St. Cloud. Marina was a homemaker for most of her life and she found joy in the simple things that made life special. She loved to read, enjoyed a good game of cribbage, going out to eat, trips to the casino to play slots, and treasured time spent with her family. She especially loved camping and traveling with her beloved husband, Linus, making memories together as they traveled in their RV. Marina loved to escape the cold MN winters by traveling to Arizona. Marina will be missed by many.
