A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Marlene E. Warzecha, age 68, of Sartell will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, Dec.30, 2006 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell. The Rev. Lauren Germann will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Marlene died on Monday, Dec. 25, at her home.
Friends may call between 4:00-9:00 PM on Friday, Dec. 29, 2006 at the Daniel Funeral Home in Sartell and after 9:00 AM on Saturday at the church. St. Monica’s Christian Women will pray at 5:30 PM and St. Francis Xavier parish prayers will be at 6:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home in Sartell.
Marlene was born on January 31, 1938 in St. Anthony, MN. to Math and Bridget (Schichta) Pogatchnik. She married Larry Warzecha on Sept. 13, 1958 in St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony, MN. Marlene was employed by Centracare until she retired in 1998. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier parish and the St. Monica’s Christian Women.
Marlene will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a wonderful listener. Marlene enjoyed her time spent with family members, especially when gathered in her kitchen.
Marlene is survived by: her children, Gail (Mark) Thorson of Sartell, Brian (Dena) of Rice, and Jill (fiancé Bret Massey) Warzecha of Big Lake; grandchildren: Jacob, Kyle, Colby, and Konnor; brothers: Loyd (Mary Ellen), David, William (Lori), and Danny (Judy).
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

My condolences to Marlene’s family. She was the most wonderful and fun-loving woman I have ever met. Your mom and I would laugh when we were separating the mail at CCC. We had so much fun. She was so giving and willing to help. I will miss her a great deal. I haven’t been in touch with her over the last couple of years but when I thought of her, it always made me smile.
