A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, October 15 at the Tri-County Alliance Church in Clearwater for Mary L. Jensen, of Kaukauna, WI, formerly of Clearwater, who died October 11, 2010. Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Reverend Anthony Stanley will officiate.
Visitation will be after 11:00 AM at the church. Arrangements are with the Daniel Funeral Home in Clearwater.
Mary was born November 23, 1933, in Minneapolis to Everett and Neola (Henry) Richards. She married Earl Jensen on November 7, 1953 in Mason City, IA. Mary and Earl lived in Clearwater from 1971-2004. Mary was fond of making quilts, and knitting hats for the homeless.
Mary is survived by: her children, Monica Kerr, Anita Jensen, Clifford Jensen, Laura Schaumberg, Yvonne Courtney, Rosemary Adams, Donald Jensen, Matthew Jensen, Mark Jensen; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister Shirley Schoenike.
She was preceded in death by her husband Earl, her parents, and brother Charles Richards.

I first met and worked with Mary at FSI in St. Cloud, Minnesota. She had a great sense of humor and was a nice person to whom I called Friend. May Mary find peace as well as her Family.
