I worked with Mary for many of her 30 years. She was a kind and gentle woman. Mary had a fun side, and spoke about the days she tended bar in her father’s place. That was a story she seldom shared with anyone. Also we heard how she had to outrun one of her dogs when the phone rang…I believe she did not always get their first.
Those of you who took care of her over the many years at home and in her last years are angels who had the opportunity to be with someone very special. Her friends thank you. You have my sympathy.

I’ve been involved with helping Mary ever since her sister died in 2020. I helped her with everything I could and got her out of the nursing home in 2023 and took care of her at her home until May of 2025, when she fell and broke her other hip and required nursing care. I took care of the house everything with the house since nobody else was available to help her, I was still in town and decided that it should fall on my shoulders to help her, even though it was overwhelming for me do take on that responsibility. She is now at peace and doesn’t have to worry anymore. Thank you Mary, for everything you did for me my entire life. Rest in peace

I grew up with Mary and her family. We lived close by and I would go to their house often — helped them with maitrenance on there house — and yard work. When the mother betty Mayer passed away – I would help the Mary and Carrol with the house –I went into the USAF in 1971 and moved to California — but I kept in contact with Mary and Carrol Last time I saw them was in Aug of 2017 I was visiting St Cloud for my 50th cathedral High School reunion — Took Mary and Carrol out for lunch with my son Scott.. Mary was a very kind and generous person — she did a lot of Volunteer work for St Marys Cathedral Church Auxillary Group — She had a long and rewarding life– Rest in Peace
