Mildred "Millie" Voigt

June 3, 1940 – November 24, 2011

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2011 at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in St. Augusta for Mildred “Millie” Voigt, age 71, of St. Augusta. Millie passed away with family at her side on Thursday, November 24 at Sterling Park Health Care Center in Waite Park. Reverend Robert Rolfes will officiate. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery in St. Cloud.

Relatives and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday at St. Mary Help of Christians parish center in St. Augusta. Parish Prayers will be held at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services on Monday at the parish center.

Millie was born June 3, 1940 in Freeport, MN to Ambrose and Arlene (Butkowski) Finken. She married Charles Voigt on April 18, 1964 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Freeport. They farmed in the St. Augusta area all her married life. She enjoyed crocheting, garage sales and her favorite flower was African Violets. She was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Parish.

Millie is survived by her husband Charles, children Brian (Jenny) Voigt of Kimball, Lisa (Mike) Spoden of Annandale, Bradley Voigt of Marion, MT and Lora (Jason) Manthei of St. Cloud, 10 grandchildren, brothers and sisters Irene (Mike) Schwinghammer of St. Nicholas, Rita (Hank) Sunder of St. Joseph, Ralph (Maureen) Finken of St. Joseph, Roger Finken of Monticello and Betty (Steve) Kurr of Pierz.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Millie’s family would like to thank the staff at Sterling Park for their generosity and care.
