What I remember most about Aunt Patty was her contagious laughter at family get-togethers. She was always joking around and having fun. When I think about that, it makes me smile. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. She is missed.

July 31, 1947 – February 4, 2014

Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in St. Joseph, MN for Patricia Bertha Collett age 66, who died on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the St. Cloud Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. The Reverend Jerome Tupa, OSB will be the celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Parish Cemetery, at St. Joseph, MN.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Joseph. St. Joseph’s Parish Prayers will be on Friday evening at 6:00 PM at Daniel Funeral Home in St. Joseph.
Pat was born on July 31, 1947 the daughter of Edward O. and Bertha I. (Hemmesch) Sinclair at St. Martin, MN. She attended country school at District 48 near St. Martin and later graduated from Melrose High School.
On July 20, 1980, she was united in marriage to Delbert Collett. They then made their home in St. Joseph, MN. Pat has worked the last 15 years at the Central Minnesota Mental Health Center in St. Cloud, MN.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who was extremely dedicated to attending all her family activities, which brought her great pride. This included dance competitions, football and baseball games, and band concerts. Pat also enjoyed watching sports on TV and was looking forward to watching the Winter Olympics.
She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in St. Joseph.
Pat is survived by her loving family, husband Delbert of St. Joseph, MN, two children Kelly Motschke-Collett of St. Joseph, MN, and Kent (Kim) Wesbur of St. Augusta, MN, seven grandchildren, Curtis, Mariah, Danielle, Ericka, Mason, Connor, and Shane, four step-children, Rick Collett, Brenda Eubank, Sherry Jeffery, and Terri Richardson, five brothers and sisters, Carol (Mel) Butkowski of St. Joseph, MN, James (Carolyn) Sinclair of Grey Eagle, MN, Dennis (Donna) Sinclair of Sarasota, Florida, Ken (Jan) Sinclair of Grey Eagle, MN, and Shirley (Gene) Funk of St. Cloud, MN, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters JoAnn Stanczyk in 1996 and Eileen Nierengarten in 1975.
