Patricia M. Engelke

Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Patricia M. Engelke, 88, of St. Cloud will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2014 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud.  Patricia passed away quietly on Friday, January 17, 2014 at Sterling Park Care Center in Waite Park.  Reverend LeRoy Scheirel will officiate.  Burial will be at St. John the Baptist Parish Cemetery in Bluffton.

Visitation will be after 9:30 a.m. on Friday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud.  Arrangements are with Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

Patricia was born on March 9, 1925 in Chokio, Minnesota to the late John and Lenore (Landers) Conroy.  After high school, she attended and graduated from the St. Cloud Teacher’s College.  Patricia was employed as a teacher all of her life.  She married Henry C. Engelke on  August 20, 1949 and they lived in many cities throughout their lives.  She was a member of St. Peter’s Parish.

Patricia loved to tell stories and had a great sense of humor.  She also enjoyed casinos trips with friends.

Patricia is survived by her sons, Robert and William; sisters, Lucille “Connie” Daniel of Sartell, Lenore McIntosh of St. Louis Park, Carol Fry of Berthoud, Colorado; sister-in-law, Jackie Conroy; and many wonderful nieces and nephews that she really loved.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry on April 12, 1990; son, John on July 12, 1991; and brother and sisters, Rosemary Sutter, Agnes Kanthak and Leo Conroy.

Memorials are preferred.
