Patricia Brennan

March 14, 1946 – January 29, 2025

Patricia Rose Brennan was born on March 14,1946 to Angeline “Tutz” King and Cecil “Red” Brennan of Hackensack, MN. Patricia graduated from Walker High School in 1964 and quickly moved to California to pursue her nursing degree, escape the cold, and hob nob with the rich and famous.
Her nursing career spanned 50 years in the Santa Barbara area, specializing in Acute and Chronic Medical Evaluation, Geriatrics in home nursing, and Healing Touch. When she moved back to Minnesota in 2020, she taught her family Introduction to Dementia and Compassionate Care. She was a great teacher.
Patricia loved dachshunds, nice things, quirky things, and heart-shaped rocks. She had an amazing, happy life and always had a smile and a kind word to say to everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents Tutz and Red, siblings Mary Ciardelli of Cross Lake, MN, Ann Bradshaw of Wentzville, MO, Sue Voss of Paynesville, significant other George Brown of Montecito, CA, Clara, Perfetto, and several other animals.
She is survived by brother Joe (Chris) Brennan of Connecticut, brother-in-law Joe Voss of Paynesville, and 22 nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank Asher Haus and the Benedictine/Assumption Community for their kindness and care during her final four years and Father Glenn Krystosek for praying with her as she passed.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Louis Church in Paynesville, MN on February 15, 2025 at 10:30 am with burial at St. Louis Cemetery.

Patricia was my friend in Santa Barbara.. We were in a ladies’ prayer group that met monthly in each other’s homes. She added a sparkle to each meeting, and we always enjoyed gathering in her Montecito house. When she started doing Healing Touch and had to submit reports, she would call on me to type and print them for her since she didn’t have a computer. I send my condolences to her family along with my gratitude for sharing this wonderful woman with me.
