Pat was born on October 12, 1970 to Terry and Mary (Hanson) Bozzo in Alexandria, Minnesota. He graduated from Apollo High School in 1989 and later from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado in 1993 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Resource Management. As a kid, Pat could always be found outside playing with the neighborhood kids in the Cul-de-sac in St. Joseph. Through and through, Pat was a “Joe Boy”. Whether he was playing hockey, soccer, going hunting or fishing or mowing lawns, Pat could always be found outside. Pat was a social butterfly and could visit with anyone young and old – so long as they could understand his mumbling.

On July 17, 1994, Pat was involved in a car accident, suffering a traumatic brain injury rendering him quadriplegic and non-verbal. Through his recovery, he was eventually able to communicate using a computer attached to his purple motorized wheelchair. Even though he was a quadriplegic, Pat enjoyed living life to its fullest and being active in his community. He especially enjoyed giving of his time and talents by volunteering at St. Cloud Rox and St. Cloud State University hockey games. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed cheering for the Minnesota Vikings, Wild and Twins. He was also a member of United Foundation for Disabled Archers (Uffda Club) which enabled him to go deer hunting with his brother-in-law, Scott. He also enjoyed playing cards, especially Poker, with anyone who was willing to play and listening to his favorite heavy metal band, AC/DC. He will be remembered for his love of family and friends, his good sense of humor and his overwhelmingly, continuous, positive attitude.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Bozzo; father, Terry (Sheila Barclay-Bozzo) Bozzo; sisters, Trista Bozzo, Staci (Brent) Venables, and Briana (Scott) Dibb; nieces and nephews, Anthony (Hannah) and Michael Bozzo; Samantha (Cole) Ramsey, Alexis Venables, McKenzie Venables, and Joseph Venables; and Justus (Korlyna) Dibb, and Kolton Dibb; great niece, Hazel Venables; and many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by grandparents; and close uncle, Richard Hanson.

A special thank you to the staff and housemates of the St. Cloud REM 23rd House, where Pat lived for over 20 years, as well as the staff at the St. Cloud Hospital for their loving and compassionate care of Pat over the years.
