Richard A. "Dick" Wiehoff

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, September 27th, at 11:30 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell for Richard A. “Dick” Wiehoff, age 77, of Sartell, who died on Monday at Quiet Oaks Hospice in St. Augusta. Rev. Timothy Baltes will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday between 4:00-8:00 PM at the Daniel Funeral Home in ST. CLOUD, and on Thursday one hour prior to services at the church. Parish Prayers will be at 5:30 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.

Richard was born June 26th, 1935 in St. Cloud to Charles and Veronica (Lindmeier) Wiehoff. He married Joan Jacobs on May 25th, 1957 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud. They moved to Sartell in 1965. The couple owned and operated Dick’s Glass and Frame Shop from 1967 to 2007 at which time they retired. Dick was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell, Catholic United Financial, and Sartell Knights of Columbus Bishop Trobec Council # 5276.

Dick enjoyed golfing, playing cards, spending time with family and friends, and loved old country music.

Survivors include children, Joseph Wiehoff, St. Cloud, Rose Decker (Duane) Sartell, Robert Wiehoff (Bonnie) St. Cloud, and John Wiehoff (Margie) Shorewood, grandchildren, Rachel, Theresa, Jena, Michelle, Jacob, Travis, and Kyle, brothers and sisters, Mary Ann Kelley, St. Cloud, Ronald Wiehoff, Melrose, James Wiehoff (Joan) Denver, CO, Janey Lister (Chuck) Alexandria, Ken Wiehoff (Hilda) Denver, CO, Donald Wiehoff (Bev) Sartell, and sister-in-law, Leona Wiehoff, St. Cloud.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Joan, April 30th, 2010, grand-daughter Christina November 28, 2008, infant sister Renee, brothers Jerry and Chuck.

The family would especially like to thank the staffs at Country Manor Villas and Quiet Oaks Hospice for the kindness and high quality care provided to their father.
