I came across Dick’s obiturary while doing research on Hoerner Waldorf. I worked for Dick in 1979 – 80. He was wonderful to work with. I’m grateful to God to have known Dick.

I wanted to send by sympathy to all the family for the loss of you dad, husband and grandpa. What a beautiful photo tribute. You can tell that he loved much and was loved by many.
Thank you for inviting me to view the video. I was so touched by Dick’s great smile and the relationships he had with his family, his travels, fun times. He lived life fully and now even more fully. Let us be grateful for the goodness he shared on earth which now lives on in the family and with friends. I was so happy to be able to attend his Mass of Resurrection. Thank you Sue for your email. I hope you are feeling comfort in the many ways your Dad has been acknowledged and loved.
Sorry that I will not be able to attend the funeral, but you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Sorry, I couldn’t make it to the funeral, but someone has to do some work around here 🙂 Our prayers have been with you and your family and may you find the strength to move forward without your special someone whether that was a husband, father or grandfather. Take care and don’t let those Iowa boys get out of hand.
