Richard M. Albrecht

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud, MN for Richard Matthew Albrecht age 76 who passed away on March 4, 2011 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Richard was born December 31, 1934 in replica watches Towner, ND to Matthew and Christine (Jaeger) Albrecht. On July 26, 1952 Richard married Joanne Njaa and they made their first home in Cooperstown, ND. In 1962 they moved to Williston, ND accepting a job as manager of the Gambles store. While living in Williston, Richard also worked as assistant administrator for Mercy Hospital. After leaving Williston in 1974 he worked as a replica watches hospital administrator for hospitals in Linton, ND and Albany, MN. Richard and Joanne semi-retired in Edina, MN, and managed a condominium complex. After retirement they moved to St. Cloud to be close to their children and grandchildren.

Richard’s family includes his wife Joanne; children, Cindy (Mark) Holter of Williston, ND, Kim (Jeff) Dombrovski of Williston, ND, Candy (Tom) Kremers of St. Cloud, MN, Jill (Tom) Lahr of Paynesville, MN, David of St. Cloud, MN, Andrea of Minneapolis, MN and John (Margaret) Albrecht of St. Cloud, MN; grandchildren, Gretchen Johnson, Aaron Holter, Jacob Holter, Jonathan Holter, Tracy Carlson, Ashley Kremers, Heather Dombrovski, Stacy Lahr, Max Lahr, Katie Lahr, Sara Albrecht, Joshua Albrecht, Derek Albrecht; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Martha; brothers, Claude, Victor, David and Matt.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Christine; brothers, Ray and Dan; sisters, Evelyn and Linda.
