A memorial gathering will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in St. Cloud for Rita J. Puchalla, 64, of St. Cloud who passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 7, 2009. Burial will be private.
Rita was born on June 26, 1945 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Dominic and Bridget (Symanietz) Langner. She worked at DeZurik’s Manufacturing for 29 years, retiring in 2007.
She is survived by her husband, Harlan Lorenz, St. Cloud; children, Karen Winscher of Bowlus, Rick Puchalla of Bowlus, Bryan Puchalla of Little Falls, Lisa Piechowski (Rodney) of Orlando, FL; Christopher Puchalla of Holdingford; grandchildren, Savannah and Blake Winscher; and brother and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters.

Hi, so sorry we could’nt make to Rita’s wake. We were having a new roof put on our shed that day in the snow. My husband Larry and I both worked with Rita. My thoughts are with you as her faimly in this time of sorrow. My lasting memory of Rita that will stay with me as long as I ride horse is: One Monday Rita came to work and said, “I was to a garage sale this weekend and saw this and thought of you. She bought the western straw hat for me and I still wear it evey time I ride horse. Our thoughts and prayers are with you her family. Love Larry and Carol Hiscock
