Robert G. Fox
November 15, 1956 – October 20, 2026

Robert “Bob” Fox passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, connection, and a lifelong appreciation for the natural world. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2026 at Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud.
Born in St. Cloud, Minnesota, to Rita and John Fox, Bob grew up with a deep affection for his home state. After graduating from St. Cloud Technical High School, he embarked on a short, adventurous stint in Duluth, exploring lumberjack education and immersing himself in the outdoors.
Bob spent his career keeping things running smoothly, working for many years in maintenance at St. John’s University before bringing his expertise to Crossroads Center and Midtown Mall until his retirement. Bob took pride in serving his community wherever he worked.
An avid lover of nature, Bob was most at home in the great outdoors. Whether he was hunting, fishing, or patiently capturing wildlife through the lens of his camera, he found tranquility and delight in Minnesota’s natural landscapes. Beyond his love for nature, Bob was a true people person. He possessed a warm, approachable spirit and loved nothing more than striking up a conversation with neighbors, friends, or anyone he crossed paths with to swap stories and debate current events.
Bob is survived by his loving brother, John (Sharon) Fox, and his cherished nephew, John (Erin) Fox. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rita Fox, as well as his beloved siblings, Janie and Bill.
Bob and his distinct, memorable point of view will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
