Robert J. “Bob” Spychala, 70, of St. Cloud passed away on February 21, 2013 at the St. Cloud Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were made with Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.
Robert “Bob” was born February 5, 1943 in St. Cloud to Joseph P. and Jeanette A. (Haverberg) Spychala. He graduated from Tech High School and St. Cloud Vocational School in drafting. He worked for many years as a draftsman building homes in various areas throughout the state and helping build Disney World.
He enjoyed antique cars, his Harley Davidson, and spending time with family and friends.
Robert “Bob” is survived by his mother of St. Cloud; sisters, Jackie (Al) Thelen of Eugene, Oregon and Theresa Kujawa-Schroeder of Foley; special friends, MaryAnn and Denny Neiss of Duelm; pet companion, Bridget; nieces and nephews, Michele (her children Cameron and Stephanie) of St. Cloud, Kim (her children Robert and Kamyi) and John (his child Lexius) of Oregon and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; brother -in- law Gerald A. Schroeder; and nephew Kevin Christy.
Robert’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Cloud Hospital and special friends MaryAnn and Denny Neiss for their friendship to Bob.
