A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025 for Robert S. “Bobert” Dynda, age 34, of Denver, CO who passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 17, 2025.
Bobert was born on November 21, 1990 to Stacey Dynda-McDonald in Maplewood, Minnesota. He grew up in the St. Cloud area and attended St. Cloud Technical High School. Bobert worked as the Kitchen Manager for Lincoln Depot in St. Cloud for two years before moving to Denver, Colorado to work as the Kitchen Manager at Will Call Pub. He loved to be in the kitchen and was an excellent cook.
Bobert was a loving son, boyfriend, brother and uncle who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He especially cherished his two nephews and always made it a point to spend as much time with them when he could. In his free time, he enjoyed going to music concerts (especially at Red Rocks), being in the outdoors, hiking in the mountains, going to the Renaissance Festival, marching in the PRIDE Parade, playing Magic the Gathering and Pokémon, and going to parties with his friends. Bobert was always the life of the party. His charismatic, happy go lucky and general goof ball nature drew people to him. He will be remembered for his willingness to always help others and his ability to inspire and encourage others to follow their dreams.
He is survived by his significant other, Erica “Bobbi” Cairl; mother, Stacey Dynda-McDonald; step-father, Christopher McDonald; grandparents, Steven (Judy) Dynda; step-grandma, Mary McDonald; siblings, Brianna (significant other, Bradie Nielsen) McDonald, Ken (significant other, Daphne Manthei) McDonald and Grace McDonald; nephews, Sebastian Schoster and Logan McDonald and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his step-grandfather, Michael McDonald and several dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Suicide Prevention.

It took me too long to write this, because I still dont have the words…
I was friends with Bobert in high school and I will never forget his funny, down to earth personality. He had a way of bringing out the silliness in people and situations.
We were not super close in recent years, I had moved to Seattle several years before he moved to Colorado. But we stayed in touch on social media. I never got the chance to tell him how proud I was of him for getting out of Saint Cloud and trying life somewhere else. I know the guts and grit it takes to do that.
Rest easy friend, you will be greatly missed by me and so so many others. I’ll think of you fondly…and often.
