I am very sorry for your loss. The grief felt when we lose a loved one may seem unbearable. At such times we can go to God’s Word for comfort. He also feels hurt when an individual dies because death was never his will. (Gen.2:17) The Bible assures us the time will come when those who have died will live again and “death will be no more”. (John 5:28,29; Rev.21:4)

Robin & Kaylee came to the ‘Ostby’ reunion we put on & came to Herb’s funeral. We had many fun times at the cabin, the big combined Birthday party, was it the 40th?, The great Halloween party Nick & Robin put on long ago. It is so devestating to loose her so young but we didn’t want her to suffer is the only thing that comforts me. I’ll see you again my sweet cousin.
I was a huge Bobby Vee fan and Robin knew him from her work. He was playing at the Shooting Star Casino many years ago and Robin, along with her mom Connie, came up and we went to his concert together. She made sure there were lots of photos taken and a signed photo from him, what a doll. I love you Robin and my heart aches for Bud, Pat, Kaylee and Nick. I love you all.
Robins MOm and I were good friends. I was her attendant at Colleen and Buds wedding..I met Robin and family at the Ostby reunion..I was married to Uncle Les Ostby..I think I am the last of that generation of ostbys..marrying the youngest of that great group of handsome Ostby men..C olleen was the first grandchild she and Les were close in age and heart..Love to all from your great Aunt Shy8qyj
We are so sorry to hear of Robin’s passing. We remember Robin fondly back in the days of “Woodys” softball teams. Robin was a fun loving person with a great laugh and a great smile. In looking at the video that is posted, it is obvious that family and friends were very important to Robin. Our condolences to you Pat, Kaylee and Nick.
Our deepest sympathies in the loss of your beloved Robin. May it help you to know that the hearts of others are deeply touched by your loss. Even though our hearts ache, we can find comfort in the God of all comfort whose is near to those with a broken heart.
( Psalms 34:18)
Robin’s life gave us so many memories too beautiful to forget. A wonderful and dedicated wife, mom, daughter, aunt, sister-in-law and friend. Although we will truly miss her presence her heart will live on through all of us.
