Rod was a wonderful man. We attended small group at Rod and Janet’s when we lived in MN. My husband loved Rod’s sense of humor and I was struck at how much Rod loved the Lord, Janet and those grandkids that we heard of so often. I am sure that my husband greeted Rod as he entered glory and one day we will go to meet our Lord and have a wonderful welcoming party. Be strong Janet and be comforted by your and friends there. I miss you.

Deeply sorry and saddened, Jan and family. What a great example of unconditional love and fun Rod was at work! My thoughts and continued prayers for you all. With love. Anne
We sighed deeply with the news. We wept. Oh how we enjoyed the picnics, the movies, the concerts, the dancing, eating out at McDonald’s after church and of course the deep fellowship enjoyed in small group Bible studies as each of us grew in our love of the Sovereign God. Rod’s fourth breath on Tuesday night was taken in heaven. We join you all in mourning this dear, wonderful man, until we all meet him again!!
We send our deepest sympathy. It is so hard to lose a dad and grandpa, but have comfort in knowing the wait to see them again is not forever.
I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with your family during this difficult time.
Janet, my thougths and prayers go out for you and your family.
Take care. Jeff
We are so sorry to hear about your dad. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this time
Rod was a friend for more than 25 years. We knew Rod as a friend, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather over the years. He was a man of great faith who was an example to us and to many others as he dealt with his serious illness. We will miss him greatly. His legacy will live on in his wife Janet, his “men of steel” sons, and the 13 grandchildren who adored their “Papa” We shall meet again.
