Roger F. Raden

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in St. Joseph, for Roger F. Raden, age 67, of St. Joseph, who passed away at his home on November 3, 2011. Reverend Joseph Feders, OSB will officiate. Burial will take place in the Parish Cemetery in St. Joseph.
Family and Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Arrangements are with the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Joseph.
Roger was born on June 11, 1944 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Edward and Mildred (Ritter) Raden. He married Mary Lou E. Buttweiler on September 19, 1970 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany. Together they made their home in St. Joseph. Roger worked as a laborer at Franklin Manufacturing for many years. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
He is survived by his mother, Millie of Avon; brother and sister, Jerry (Diane) Raden of Avon, and Joan (Jerry) Jonas of St. Joseph; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Roger was preceded in death by his father in 2005; and wife in 2010; and nephew Jeff Jonas in 1994.
