Ronald A. Mitchell

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 PM on Friday, Dec. 13, at the Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in St. Cloud, for Ronald A. Mitchell, 64, of St. Cloud, who died Dec. 8, 2013. Burial will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, and from 2:30 – 3:30 PM on Friday, at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.
Ron was born on June 3, 1949, in Black River Falls, WI, to Archie and Louise (Skutley) Mitchell. He graduated from Black River Falls High School. Ron served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Ron married Nancy Kyllonen on June 10, 1995 in St. Cloud. Ron enjoyed playing cards, gardening, taking care of the family dogs, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed a joke and had a good sense of humor. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children. Ron was employed at Electrolux.
Ron is survived by: wife Nancy; children, Megan Kyllonen of Nevis, Nathaniel Mitchell of St. Cloud, Brandy (Matt) May of Minneapolis; grandson Josiah; brother Charles (Carol) of Altoona, WI; sisters Cynthia (Lloyd) Bleuel Of Sheboygan, WI, Jane (Bernard) Bleuel of Green Bay, WI; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
