Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 21, 2011 at the Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in St. Cloud for Ronald K. Thienes, age 54 of St. Cloud who passed away on Monday, October 10, 2011 at his home. Reverend Alfred Stangl will officiate. Private interment of cremated remains will take place at Calvary Cemetery, St. Cloud.

Family and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

Ron was born on June 9, 1957 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Robert and Marjorie (Richter) Thienes, Sr. He was a 1975 graduate of St. Cloud Technical High School; later he graduated from the St. Cloud Technical College with a degree in Waste Water Management. Ron lived in St. Cloud all of his life.

Survivors include his sister and brothers, Patricia (George) Hontos and Robert, Jr. (Pam) both of St. Cloud, and Richard (Colleen) of Lakeville.

He was a preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.

ABsolutely loved Ron! He made me smile, what a wonderfully gentle spirit. I will miss seeing him when I visit my brother Barry Q You are all in my thoughts and Prayers. Patty it was a pleasure to meet you a couple of weeks ago.

My earliest childhood memories of friends are always Ron, Doug Schmidt, Kris Harlander, and myself – just playing, riding bikes, and having fun together. Now Doug and Ron are both gone. My deepest condolences to his family.
