Rose Mary "Rosie" Heinen
October 27, 1925 – May 2, 2013
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 6, 2013 at the Good Shepherd Community Chapel in Sauk Rapids for Rose Mary “Rosie” Heinen, age 87 of St. Cloud who passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the Good Shepherd Community in Sauk Rapids. The Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Entombment will take place at the Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum.
Family and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday at the Good Shepherd Community Chapel. Arrangements were by the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.
Rose was born on October 27, 1925 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Frank and Helen (Thielen) Putz. She married Allison F. “Al” Heinen on August 31, 1948 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, St. Cloud. Rose was a member of St. John Cantius Parish. She will be remembered as a loving mother. Rose enjoyed doing crafts, cooking and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Rose is survived by her son Mark and his wife Coral of St. Cloud.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2009; and son, Wayne in 1996.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the wonderful nurses at the Mille Lacs Lake Unit at the Good Shepherd Community for the loving care they provided for Rosie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Good Shepherd Community Foundation or the Centra Care Health Foundation.
