Russell W. "Rusty" Clepper, III

Family and friends may gather on Thursday, April 1, 2010 from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Kelly Inn, St. Cloud for Russell William Clepper, III, 61, of St. Cloud, who passed away March 29, 2010. A Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 PM.
Russell “Rusty” was born September 13, 1948 in St. Cloud, MN to Russ and Betty (Coborn) Clepper. On December 13, 1969 he married Joanne Mosley at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Russ graduated from St. Cloud Tech High School in 1966 and attended SCSU. He managed Stadium Pizza in downtown St. Cloud and later managed the Eastman and the Paramount Theaters. He owned and operated Mr. Russell Photography before owning and managing the Camera Trader with his father Russ and brother Scot. Russ was a wonderful and loving husband, son, and brother. He had a great sense of humor and loved the outdoors. He was a member of the Powder Ridge Ski Patrol and a professional ski instructor. Russ and Joanne enjoyed sailing Lake Superior on their sailboat “Bristol Fashion” and the life-long friends that were made. He was a member of the Sports Car Club of America, Great Lakes Cruising Club, and the Washburn Yacht Club.
Survivors include his wife Joanne of St. Cloud; siblings Scot of St. Cloud, Beckie (Cliff) Schaefer of Litchfield, Terry (Dan) Bicknell of St. Cloud, Tim (Fran) of Oceanside, CA, Wendy (Rodney) Atkinson of Freeport; brothers-in-law Gerald Mosley of Mazeppa, Claude (Judy) Mosley of LaCrescent.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robie and sister Mary.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers Memorials to the American Diabetes Association.
