Scott L. Golembeck

September 9, 1966 – December 25, 2010

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Faith Lutheran Church of Becker, for Scott L. Golembeck, age 44, of Big Lake, who passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2010 at the St. Cloud Hospital surrounded by family. Reverend Brad Barr will officiate. Burial will take place in the Becker Cemetery in Becker, Minnesota.
Family and friends may call between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the church in Becker.
Scott was born on September 9, 1966 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Laurin and Betty (Skuza) Golembeck. He is a 1985 graduate of St. Cloud Technical High School and later went on to graduate from the Automotive Program at St. Cloud Vo-Tech. He married Kimberly A. Chirhart on March 17, 1990 in St. Cloud. Scott worked as an Automotive Technician most of his life, and was currently employed at Kennedy Transmission in Waite Park.
Throughout his life he enjoyed being outdoors especially the time he spent with his son, hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kim; son, Adam at home; brother and sister, Wayne (Jane) Golembeck of Lakeville, and Janet (Jeff) Hallermann of St. Cloud; nieces and nephews, Matthew (Liz) Hallermann, Jessica Hallermann, Shannon Golembeck and Joshua Golembeck; mother and father in law, Richard and Judy Chirhart of St. Cloud; and sister in law, Kristen Chirhart of San Francisco, CA.
Scott is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Karen.
A Special Thank You to all the Staff of the Intensive Care Unit at the St. Cloud Hospital for the loving care given to Scott and his family.
Memorials are preferred for Adam’s College fund.
