Daniel Funeral Home & Cremation Service

Susan M. Stocker

July 20, 1950 – September 29, 2026

Susan M. Stocker, age 76, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2026, at St. Cloud Hospital. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud with visitation one (1) hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Minnesota State Veteran’s Cemetery in Little Falls, MN. Following the interment, there will be a gathering of food and drinks at the Moose Lodge 1400 in Waite Park, MN, where family and friends are invited to come together, share stories and remember Sue in their own way.
Susan was born on July 20, 1950, in St. Cloud to Lloyd and Irene (Miller) Hedlund. She graduated from Technical High School and on September 5, 1970, she married Donald “Don” Stocker in St. Cloud. Together, Sue and Don shared more than 55 years of marriage, raising their family and building a lifetime of memories together.
Throughout her working years, Sue held a variety of positions where she enjoyed being around people. She worked as a homemaker, hairdresser, in food service with St. Cloud Area School District 742, and later at Little Dukes/Holiday Convenience Store.
Sue enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to the American Legion and Moose Lodge, and trying her luck at pull tabs. She and Don also enjoyed many years at their condo on Mille Lacs Lake and taking road trips together.
Anyone who knew Sue also knew she was a dedicated Green Bay Packers fan. She proudly cheered on the green and gold and rarely missed an opportunity to support her team. In honor of Sue and her love of sports, family and friends attending her services are encouraged to wear apparel representing their favorite sports team. Packers attire, of course, would make Sue especially proud.
Above all, Sue loved spending time with her family. Her children and grandchildren were an important part of her life, and the time spent together created memories they will continue to cherish.
Sue is survived by her children, Stacy (friend Carrie Meyer) and Jesse (Janelle); her grandchildren, Peyton and Cole; and her brothers, David and Cabot Hedlund, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald “Don” Stocker, who passed away earlier this year; her parents, Lloyd and Irene Hedlund; and her brother, Gary Hedlund.
Sue will be deeply missed by her family and friends. After sharing more than 55 years together, there is comfort in knowing that Sue and Don are together again, while the memories, laughter, and traditions they created will live on through their family.
And whenever the Packers take the field, there will always be one more reason to think of Sue — Go Pack Go!
