Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 19, 2008 at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Joseph, MN for Suzanne Dorothy Pelzer age 42 of St. Joseph who died on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at her home. The Rev. Joseph Feders, OSB of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in St. Joseph will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Friday.
Suzanne was born on June 15, 1966 in St. Cloud, MN. She has been in foster care for many years, most recently at Quality Care Services in St. Joseph, where she made her home. She attended Independence Center, Inc. (ICI) in Waite Park, MN for many years where she made several friends. Her bright smile and laughter will be deeply missed.
She is survived by: her family, Quality Care Services family and her many friends at ICI.
I had the pleasure of caring for Susie recently. She was an amazing lady. I loved her smiles and her laughs. There was not a bad day to be had with Ms. Pelzer around.
My family and I will miss her laugh and smile and how she always brightened our days! We love you Susie.
My Grandparents (Al and Sophie Notch) took care of Susie for 20 years. I will always remember Susie’s smiles and laughter whenever she heard Grandma and Grandpa’s voices. She was very special too them. Susuie you are with them again smiling and laughing. Marla Notch Honer

It’s been many, many years but I was in a foster home with Suzanne. Our Foster parents were Al & Sophia Notch who have since passed away. I also remember her beautiful smile.
Al & Sophie were fantastic foster parents to Suzanne and treated her as their own until their age prevented them from being able to take care of her. Suzanne is now with them walking hand in hand and laughing out loud.
