Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Timothy D. “Murf” Murphy, 51, of St. Cloud, who died March 8, 2007. Entombment will be in the Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum.
Friends may call from 9:00-10:30 AM at the church Tuesday.
Arrangements are with the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.
Tim was born on November 24, 1955, in St. Cloud to John and Audrey (Ostrom) Murphy. Tim graduated from Tech High School and St. Cloud Technical College. He married Lois Linn on October 8, 1988 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Tim served as a volunteer for the Waite Park Fire Department for many years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge for many years, and was a past Governor of the Moose. Tim enjoyed fishing and NASCAR racing; he was a handyman and enjoyed fixing and building things. Tim was a good-hearted man, always willing to help.
Tim is survived by his wife Lois of St. Cloud, and sister Cocoa Robertson of Sauk Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother Michael and sister Darlene.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
