Although I was based in San Francisco, I have known and worked with Wanda on assignments and special projects off and on for over 20 years. She was highly respected for her expertise and professionalism. It was a treat working with her and I have fond memories of the experience. My heartfelt condolence to her family.

May 25, 1956 – February 14, 2014
A private Funeral Service will be held for Wanda M. Philippi, 57, of St. Cloud, who died Feb. 14, 2014. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Church Parish Cemetery in Waite Park. Arrangements are with the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.
Wanda was born on May 25, 1956, in St. Cloud, to Arthur and Margaret “Peggy” (Campbell) Philippi. She attended St. Cloud Tech High School and graduated from St. Cloud State University. Wanda was a CPA for the Office of the Inspector General, US Department of Agriculture for over 27 years. She retired in August of 2011. Wanda loved taking her speed boat out with her nieces and nephews.
Wanda is survived by: her parents Art and Peggy of Waite Park; brothers and sisters, Debra (Richard) Hansen of Rice, Greg (RoseMary) of St. Cloud, Pamela Olson of Waite Park, John (Jonelle) of Cold Spring; 12 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Memorials are preferred to Poor Clares Monastery, Sauk Rapids.

I am very saddened to hear of Wanda’s passing. She had such a sweet, gentle, kind spirit. We had great conversations about family, life, and her favorite soap “All My Kids”. She was a pleasure to work for and will be greatly missed. May the God of Peace give you strength at this time. Psalms 29:11
Wanda will always be remembered in my heart as a sweet, kind and gentle soul. I will miss her, but I know the Lord and all athe angels above will embrace her in all that is beautiful.

Wanda was a great person and always wore a smile on her face. It is sad to hear she has passed, but it is good to know in our hearts she has gone to be with the Lord. My heart goes out to the family at this time, just know she is resting in the Lord and He is holding her in His arms.

It is with a sad heart that I write this. Upon arriving at USDA, Wanda was the first regional colleague I had the pleasure to meet. I have fond memories of discussing work, cars, boating, and being outside enjoying nature. However, it was the quiet conversations we had during the short time our paths crossed that I will treasure the most. To her family, my deepest condolences.
