Wayne E. Miller

December 3, 1973 – December 30, 2023

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 12, 2024 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Clearwater for Wayne E. Miller, age 50, of Clearwater. Wayne passed away December 30, 2023 at his home. Burial will take place in the St. Luke’s Parish Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday at the church.

Wayne was born December 3rd, 1973 in St. Cloud, MN to Allen and Patricia Miller. He graduated from Annandale High School, class of 1993. In 2005 he moved to Sheridan, MT to help run a cattle ranch. He moved back to Minnesota in 2013, where he finished his working life as a general laborer at J & P concrete.

Wayne had a passion for hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. He enjoyed playing cornhole, making people laugh & smile, and spending time with friends & family. He had a great love for all animals, large or small, but his dog Nikita was held most dearly in his heart. He was extremely talented, a jack of all trades, and was incredibly hardworking.

Wayne is survived by his father Allen of Clearwater MN; children Austin of St. Cloud, MN and Montana of Willmar, MN; brother Michael (Tracy) of Elk Mound, WI.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia.

God Bless

I have had the privilege of calling Wayne my friend for over four decades. We wrestled throughout school, hunted & fished, ran dirt bikes, ATV’s and basically anything that had a motor. We also shared a passion for horses.
Later in life we would roof houses together and we would share homes next to one another.
Wayne was an outstanding guy and I have many fond memories of the time I spent with him.
I pray for peace and comfort for his family during this difficult time.

We have all lost a very special person in Wayne’s untimely passing, God must have said your work is done here, time to come home. Wayne was an outgoing person, who greeted you with his smile and twinkle in his eye, and invariably asking how you were doing before you could do the same to him. He cared about each and everyone he met. I was proud to call him my friend and grateful for his wisdom, insight and friendship and will miss my conversations with him. He was one of the hardest working guys I knew and he was true to his word. We each need to thank God for the blessing and privilege to have known Wayne for as long as we did, as we are each a better person for having known him no matter how brief, rather than to have never known him at all. As we commit him to his place of eternal rest within this time of sorrow and reflection, let us pray that what Wayne was to each of us and that the peace, health, and harmony that he wished for others, will indeed someday come to pass for all of us and the rest of the world. God bless you Wayne, my friend, and your dad Al, your children, your brother and his family, and all who were touched by knowing you.
