Adeline "Addie" C. Dinndorf

January 10, 1924 – October 2, 2011

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Adeline “Addie” C. Dinndorf, age 87, of St. Cloud. Addie passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House with family at her side. Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Entombment will take place in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls on Thursday.

Relatives and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Rosary Sodality will pray at 4 p.m. followed by Parish Prayers at 5 p.m.

Addie was born January 10, 1924 in St. Cloud, MN to Nicholas and Gertrude (Mohs) Thelen. She married Harold A. Dinndorf on May 26, 1951 at Holy Angels Catholic Church in St. Cloud. She was a member of St. John Cantius Catholic Church and Rosary Sodality.

Addie is survived by her husband Harold of St. Cloud, children Diane (Joseph) Friebe of Nebraska, Brenda (David) Efteland of Eagan, Jane Ann (Mark) Hollenhorst of St. Cloud, Karen Dinndorf of St. Cloud, Mary Cheryl Opatz of St. Cloud, Keith Dinndorf of Sartell, Roger Dinndorf of St. Cloud and Claudia Dinndorf of Waite Park, 18 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, siblings Lillian Dickinson of St. Cloud and Br. Nicholas Thelen, OSB of Collegeville.

Preceding her in death were her parents, grandchildren Sarah Friebe and Benjamin Efteland, and brothers Hubert, Richard, Charles, and Dave Thelen.

Memorials are preferred to Mother of Mercy or Quiet Oaks Hospice House.
