Kevin "Sully" Sullivan

October 17, 1960 – February 26, 2021

Kevin was born on October 17, 1960 to Joseph (Joe) Sullivan and Sandra (Steindorf) DesNoyer in St. Paul Minnesota. Kevin was married to Barbara Sullivan on June 6, 1987, and is survived by his ex-wife Barbara, their children, Brianna and Colleen and his grandson, Liam. His daughter, Amanda and his granddaughter, Nakita.

Kevin was a family-man, he was a loving father and most enjoyed being a grandfather. He was a man that always had the best intentions, he had a large personality that people were often drawn to and a great sense of humor.  Kevin was an athletic man and loved nothing more than to play a round of golf on a nice day. Maybe there was one thing he loved more, there was a tradition in our house. Weekend mornings, he would get up and crank Motown, and we would dance in the kitchen while he made us all breakfast. When we are “Kitchen dancing,”’ we will know he is with us.

Kevin is also survived by his father Joe and stepmother Martha Barnum. His siblings; Kate (Mark), Brian (Marsha), Joanne, Michael (Laura), Steven (Cindy), Charlie (Erika), Katie and Hannah (Patrek). And is preceded in death by his grandparents, his mother and a child.

Wow, I wish I would have known sooner. I am sorry for the loss, may you find peace.

It has been a little over a week and I continue to miss your calls, texts and seeing you…with such strong welcoming hugs, I will miss time we planned on with your friends at the lake, trip to meet sister, our special times with friends, my prayers are that you are no longer in the pain you felt physically and hurt you took so deeply due to your love for everyone unconditionally!

Kevin was a great friend and he was always there for me in the darkest times of my life. We met while we were both at the salvation army. We immediately hit it off and became great friends. My condolences go out to his family especially his kids and grandchild. He will be greatly missed. Rip my friend .

I will miss your tender, tight hugs, your smile when you greeted me, our laughter, fun times, your daily calls and texts, great long conversations, your constant concern for me and the sharing we did. Our time together was to short but you are in my heart forever.

Sully always had a pep in his step and was welcoming from the first day I met him. I loved sitting out in the garage with him while discussing the neighborhood happenings. He was encouraging, optimistic, and an all around pleasure to be around. Couldn’t ask for a better neighbor. 💜

We have wonderful memories of our times together with Kevin and Barb
