Please accept our sympathy. When we sent a Christmas card in Dec., 2020, and it came back in the mail, we didn’t know how to contact Norb & Dolores, and just recently saw this online. We are so sorry for your loss. He was a good friend. We are part of the St. Joseph Catholic Church parish family in Lakefield, MN. We would like to have contact information for someone in the family if possible, and we would welcome word of when the Celebration of Life will be held.

When I was a little girl, Norb was my Godfather, uncle, my dad’s brother and our good friend. As I grew up, Norb and Dolores moved “far away” up to St Joseph and we did not see them as much, but stayed in contact through the mail and phone and we were sure good friends When my dad died, my Godfather sort of became my second dad and our phone conversations and a weekend visit or two each year became even more personal and we were real good friends. Then we both became caretakers and experienced the horrendous alzheimers that ripped both Norb and I apart as we watched our loved one slipping away from us. And we supported each other and were good friends for each other. And now he is gone and as I write this with tears gushing from my eyes I already know how much I am going to miss my wonderful friend and our conversations that were much more frequent, sometimes twice a day, in these last years. Now he will live in my heart and in my memories and I will never forget my VERY GOOD FRIEND. I love you Norb

Miss Norb and his great sense of humor. He tried teaching me to make pies to no avail. We have been neighbors for a long time at Kraemer Lake. He did some excellent carpentry work for us. He will be missed.
We’ll miss Norb. He was a fun neighbor and a good story-teller. He helped us build our deck and when finished he said, “It’s so stable, you can drive a truck over it and it won’t collapse.”
Our deepest sympathy to Delores, Chris & Nicole and families, on your loss. Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
