May 8, 1939 – July 11, 2021
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 16, 2021 at the St. Joseph Old Parish Cemetery in St. Joseph for Paul R. Langendorf, age 82, of St. Joseph, who passed away on Sunday, July, 11, 2021 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Paul was born on May 8, 1939 to Rudolph & Julia (Gruszka) Langendorf in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Paul grew up in the St. Joseph area on his family dairy farm and spent his entire life working there. He was extremely proud to carry on his family’s legacy of farming. Paul was united in marriage to Delphine Okonek on Aug. 27, 1962 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Foley. He had a warm, welcoming and charismatic personality, always entertaining friends and family with his incredible story telling ability, good sense of humor and willingness to help anyone in need. Paul always saw the best in people. His optimism and good spirits were contagious to everyone he met. Paul enjoyed working with his hands, especially doing mechanic work, welding, and collecting antique equipment and tractors. He also enjoyed going hunting and fishing in his free time. He was an active member of the National Farmers Organization, and the Minnesota Metal Craftsman Association.
Paul is survived by his grandchildren, LeAnn and Christopher Bollin; sisters, Janet (Ron) Ruegemer and Joan (David) Negaard; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Delphine; and daughter, Brenda Langendorf.
