I worked at St. Benedict’s Senior Community and got to know Steve over the seven years I worked there. He had a cheerful and positive attitude as well as sharing jokes and stories with all of us. He will be missed and remembered fondly.My sympathies are with you.

Friday, July 17, 2009 at the St. Benedict Senior Community Chapel in St. Cloud, MN for Steven Sylvester Vornbrock age 46 who was a resident of St. Benedict Senior Community who died at the St. Cloud Hospital on Wednesday, July 15, 2009. Inurnment will be in the North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at St. Benedict Senior Community Chapel.
Steven was born on August 10, 1962 in Melrose, MN the son of Gerald B. and Felicitas A. (Phyllis) (Massmann) Vornbrock. He graduated from Upsala High School in 1980 and worked in the area for many years.
He is survived by: his daughter, Brittany (Clint) Lentner of Sartell, MN, four grandchildren, Aerith, Maya, Bria and Christian Lentner, his parents, Gerald and Phyllis Vornbrock of Burtrum, MN, step grandmother, Bertha Vornbrock of Meire Grove, MN, five sisters, Pam (Carl) Janssen of Farming, MN, Anita (John) Wiechmann of Grey Eagle, MN, Judith, Marlene, and Ann all at home, three brothers, Roman (Nona) Vornbrock of Albany, MN, Donald (Kelly) Vornbrock of Freeport, MN, and Daniel Vornbrock at home and other relatives and friends.
Steven was preceded in death by grandparents Aloysious and Emily Vornbrock and Anton and Christine Massmann.
